Oblate Youth Ministry at the Shrine serves as a local resource for St. Louis Metro and Southern Illinois dioceses, and is a national destination for pilgrimage. Sponsored by the Missionary Oblates of Mary Immaculate and inspired by their founder, St. Eugene de Mazenod, Oblate Youth Ministry at the Shrine dares young people and adults who journey with them to live radical lives of discipleship, action, reflection and evangelization. Our staff welcomes youth groups and individual pilgrims with hospitality that we hope would make St. Eugene proud. We rejoice in the gifts that young people bring (and ARE) to the Church, and we seek to empower and inspire them to leadership in their parishes, schools, communities and the world.
